Yale Cooling Conference - Alternative Cooling Technologies
March 5-6, 2026
Join REEF at the Yale Cooling Conference (March 5-6, 2026), a premier gathering at Yale School of Management uniting innovators, financiers, and policymakers to scale alternative cooling technologies and lifecycle refrigerant management. This event spotlights innovations that address the tripling global cooling demand while slashing emissions from potent HVAC refrigerants. As a key platform for finance and technology acceleration, it aligns perfectly with REEF's push for zero-climate-impact refrigerants empowering building owners to lead the charge in sustainable cooling transitions that could prevent billions of tons of CO₂e. Engage with cutting-edge solutions and networks to drive real-world adoption.

SF Climate Week - State Regulations and Refrigerant Reclaim
April 18-26, 2026
REEF participates in San Francisco Climate Week (April 18-26, 2026), a dynamic, city-wide convergence of over 700 events driving climate innovation. Our focus spotlights state-level regulations advancing HFC reductions and robust refrigerant reclaim practices—critical for capturing, recycling, and destroying high-GWP refrigerants to prevent atmospheric release. Amid California's leadership in incentives and policies, this is an ideal forum to explore compliance, market incentives, and procurement strategies that support lifecycle management. Connect with policymakers, organizations, and peers to amplify REEF's mission: empowering stakeholders to implement reclaim programs and low-GWP transitions that deliver measurable emissions cuts and align with ambitious sustainability and resilience targets.

ATMOsphere – Natural Refrigerants
June 2-3, 2026
REEF engages at the ATMOsphere America Summit (June 2-3, 2026, New York area), the leading event championing natural refrigerants and refrigerant-free innovations like caloric cooling. This summit delivers real-world case studies, policy updates, and market trends for applications in commercial refrigeration, heat pumps, and HVAC highlighting propane (R290), CO₂, ammonia, and emerging technologies. Amid health and safety standards discussions and regulatory shifts away from PFAS-laden HFOs, it underscores the business case for clean cooling. REEF members will explore adoption barriers and opportunities, network with end-users and contractors, and advance our shared goal: accelerating the industry's shift to new zero-GWP solutions that eliminate refrigerant emissions and support a net-zero future.
REEF is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
