        Refrigerant Procurement Guidance and Templates

        Request for Advisors:

The Refrigerants Procurement Climate Collaborative is a multi-stakeholder team convened by the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC). Through deep collaboration, partnering organizations have worked together over the past year to create new resources to equip leaders with tools to reduce the climate impacts of refrigerants through responsible procurement and life cycle management. Phase 1 of this work has culminated in the development of the following new resources. The team is now seeking review & testing by outside organizations looking to implement best practices in sustainable refrigerant management and procurement.

We’re inviting YOU, our strategic advisors, to review these draft documents and share feedback on clarity, usability, and relevance. We are seeking feedback from individuals directly involved in the purchasing or specification of HVAC systems and refrigerants such as procurement staff, landlord coordinators, or designers dealing directly with distributors and manufacturers. Your input will help us ensure these materials are clear, actionable, and aligned with real-world procurement processes in the final version which will be published and publicly available in July 2025.

Please review and submit comments to the questions below by Wednesday, July 2nd.

For completing the review and submitting your survey responses, you will be entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card.

        Documents for Review:

        1. Climate Friendly Refrigerant Management and Procurement Guidance
